Foundations are organizations that raise tax-exempt donations and engage in charity, education, and social change. These can be classified as either private or community foundations. Community foundations (CFs) can raise money from the general populous. Private foundations are created by individuals, families, and corporations.
Some of the world’s most powerful people have used foundations to protect their wealth from heavy taxation while simultaneously using that wealth to create massive changes in our education and culture, promoting collectivism, “new morality”, and virtually unlimited government power.
